Denise

Denise Duffie, BBA, MBA, CE (Psychology of Addiction and Recovery, Stanford University) is the unbreakable spirit which inspires TeDDs' associates and clients. 

Denise has joined the journey to becoming a beacon of hope and change in suicide prevention. She continues to develop essential skills to halt suicide and suicidal idealization and respond effectively in its aftermath. Denise teaches clients to identify warning signs, provides support and treatment options.

A former professional in the Toronto corporate world, Denise has an uncanny ability for quick solutions and healthy decisions. She has also worked as a research consultant in healthcare across Canada, finding answers for many organizations, communities, and governments, in the complex area of mental health and addictions.

As Executive Director of TeDDs on Chapel, Denise takes an intuitive behavioural approach with families and clients to help move past often vexing challenges addiction has created.  With a fully common-sense approach, Denise follows clients to ensure they gain true mindfulness and new approaches to life.
